REDROCK

Originating from the UK comes this new amazing vintage inspired label called REDROCK.
I stumbled upon them through twitter and am really loving their collection!
the photos speak for themselves!

these are from their latest look book!

with very colorful and diverse vintage prints paired
with modern pieces creates a look that will definitely
have heads turning!

REDROCK is an online fashion label established in 2009 by designer Kiran Lall.
The label is comprised of original, sought after vintage and re-worked vintage
clothing pieces originating from the swingin’ sixties to the grungin’ nineties.

The label aims to breathe new life into vintage clothing
by giving its pieces a contemporary edge with a promise of quality and consistency
and without a compromise to its original appeal. At REDROCK we like to say
“strive to stand out from the crowd!”. The label proudly provides its customers
the opportunity to do just that. A unique quality of REDROCK is that no two
items are ever the same -they will always be individual.

REDROCK has already secured rails at some of the hottest
boutiques and has received national press including Sew Hip Magazine, Drapers
Online and Company Magazine. REDROCK also put on their first ever fashion show
in London’s infamous Brick Lane. Our designs have been requested by the likes of
Peaches Geldoff, Paloma Faith, Elen Rivas, Lauren Pope, Audrey Kitching, Tali
Lennox and is adored by an army of fashion forward bloggers. The label has also
received interest from a high street fashion giant.
And the night is still young yet…

what I also like about this label is that they offer
plus sizes! from 6 to 16. currently being a 14 myself I was
Excited to find some pieces that I would add to my current wardrobe.

HM+

So just saw on fb that HM will be re-releasing their plus sized line as HM+ from sizes 14-24.
this excites me and I'll have to go check out the whole collection at the actual store since on the website there are only a few pieces displayed.
being a size 14 myself I had trouble finding some clothes in my size sometimes.
especially blazers. I really still want a good blazer,
and am working my but off to get to a size 12.
ultimate goal size is a 7 .

so back to the spring collection
what immediately caught my eye was this

Fine-knit, double-breasted cardigan
in a blazer style with gold buttons and front pockets.

comes in black too.
it looks comfy and I love the style/cut
and the buttons! very nice and structured.
can't wait to see the rest!

Today I took off my nail polish design in a different way.

New Years Goals

-play bass better
-lose more weight
-dress nice
-sew more clothing

short term goals that I feel can be reached for this year.
also I want to blog more and make it interesting for whoever
happens to stumble upon it.

Happy New Year!!

How did you spend your new year? I spent mine at a spectacular celebration at my church. at the strike of midnight balloons and confetti fell from above while everyone hugged each other and left. I felt kind of lonely seeing everyone hugging each other all happily. I had gone with my mum but still you know? well again I have no pictures to show for that event, it's sad. I really do want a camera :'/.

any who I've spent the last few days drooling over gel nail art. I even found a Japanese nail salon that specializes in all the cute designs as seen in magazines such as nail up!

don't they look cute?!

the salon I found though is very expensive. around $68 USD for these, although im still not 100% sure about the price since I am only basing it on reviews about the salon on yelp. personally I am not a fan of long nails. i like to keep them short, especially because I play bass, but they apparently offer designs on your own short nails? I really want to go and get my nails done. a cute candy lollipop theme would be so cute!

I wanted to go to little tokyo this week to see if could grab a physical copy of this from kinokuniya, but it will have to wait.

I leave you with a few more scans!
